The Orchard “Gang of Eight” gung-ho golfers and wives recently just came back as the “Buena Mano” wave of golfers to first sample our reciprocal arrangement with Mission Hills, and they all enthusiastically report that it was so enjoyable they would do it again soon!
Embarking from Manila in two groups, Woody and Wilbert Young, Ric Antonio, and William Lim opted to travel on the plan arranged by The Orchard through Regent Travel, while Boboy and Elizabeth Garrovillo, and Merle and Red Laset booked their own flights and van transfer, but all stayed at the same hotel as prescribed in the reciprocal package.

They all had nothing but nice things to say about everything – from the hotel accommodations, the food, the golf courses, even the signage for the van transfers greeting them at their arrival.
They left Manila at 5 am the first day, and teed off for 18 holes at 2 30pm at the Els Course. The next morning, they had an 8 am tee off time at the Annika Course for another 18 holes. The group was accorded full complimentary green fees because they stayed at the Mission Hills hotels, while the package booked through Regent travel comprised of a visa fee for P2000, plane fare of $305 US, and van transfer of $150 US.
Things went so smoothly that the groups had enough time to get in some shopping in Hongkong in the evenings, were they up for it, as the Garrovillos and the Lasets did one night. The third day was scheduled entirely for leisurely, relaxed travel, finding the group back in Manila in the early evening.
Below is the complete itinerary for the group, for those who will undoubtedly want to follow suit –
